Alberto Basso is the new President of JRE-Italia
The head chef of the Trequarti Restaurant - Val Liona (VI), has been elected as the new President of JRE-Italia, taking over from Filippo Saporito.
A four-year period of innovation begins for JRE-Italia which, on the occasion of the annual members' meeting, elected Alberto Basso, head chef of the Trequarti Restaurant in Val Liona (VI), as its new president. The chef, already part of the board, takes over from Filippo Saporito, carrying forward his ideas and sharing mentality. A changing of the guard in the name of continuity, with an attentive and future-oriented look “Ever since I worked at the La Peca restaurant, a historic JRE member, I have always looked at JRE-Italia with profound admiration. So, the day the call came from the board of directors at the time, and I joined the Association, for me it was a dream come true, a confirmation of value and esteem, as well as the opportunity to interact with many colleagues in Italy and abroad. – says Alberto Basso – And today, after a few years have passed, having become president represents a real honour, a task that I will carry out with great pride and commitment, together with the board, to continue what has been done up to now and develop it further . Supporting him in the task of leading the Association, the newly elected board: Dario Guidi, chef of the Antica Osteria Magenes Restaurant – Barate (MI), in the role of Vice President; Massimiliano Mascia, chef of San Domenico - Imola, as Associate and Partner Relations Manager; Paolo Trippini, Trippini Restaurant – Civitella del Lago (TR), and Stefano Di Gennaro, Quintessere Restaurant in Trani, as Managers of New Entries; Stefano Pinciaroli, PS Ristorante – Cerreto Guidi (FI), as European Delegate; Luigi Pomata, Luigi Pomata Restaurant - Cagliari, as Treasurer.
