De Molenaar’s cuisine

With a flair for French cuisine, restaurant De Molenaar offers an array of influences from around the world. Chef Martin Kooijker and his team like to use regional products in their cooking, which is done according to the seasons as much as possible. The environment and welfare of animals are important to Martin's sense of gastronomic responsibility. This is why he works with local hunters during the game season. The restaurant’s bread is baked with traditional flour from a local mill, and even the asparagus come from the area. The menu is ever-changing, depending on the available products and the seasons. Fresh seafood, locally hunted game, and vegetables from the region form the basis of the dishes. Each dish can be paired with a glass of high-quality wine, carefully selected by the in-house sommelier.
