Having worked in some of the world’s leading restaurants including Steiereck by Heinz Reitbauer, Maze by Gordon Ramsay, and L’Atelier by Joel Robuchon, Jakob Pintar could perhaps be described as a chef of top pedigree. But to his colleagues, he is Jakob and “every kitchen needs a Jakob” and they are lucky to have this one running their kitchen. As a chef, Jakob's curiosity and talent collide to create new, imaginative dishes and his attention to detail is demonstrable in both taste and presentation. His philosophy is simple, everything is done as a team and he is always willing to impart his knowledge to everyone that works with him. Although he has won numerous awards, the biggest reward is “the smile on your face”.
