The best way to describe Tabar’s cuisine is in their own words, all centred around “love”: “Love for food, love for the ingredients, love for the local producers and their products, love for freshness. And love for everybody that wants to share our passion with us.” All ingredients used in their dishes are sourced as locally as possible with sustainability a key part of their overall ethos. Tabar believe that all types of meat and every type of vegetable deserve equal respect and their idea of small plates or “Slovenian tapas” means that diners can try a selection of everything - all paired with crazy, wild, and unique wines that can be shared amongst friends.
