FOURTH GENERATION FAMILY TRADITIONMeckatzer Löwenbräu is more than just an Allgäu brewery - it is an Allgäu history as diverse as the region itself. After the death of Gebhard Weiß, it is only thanks to Lena's courage and responsibility that the brewery continued to exist. Characteristics were passed on from generation to generation. In 1905, Meckatzer Weiss-Gold was the first registered beer brand in the Allgäu. Currently, Michael Weiß is responsible for the art of brewing as well as people, nature and traditions. In addition to aligning the company with a sustainable values-based approach, he is a leader in establishing a conscious culture of fun and enjoyment in the Allgäu.
"Those who live by timeless values will not remain alone for long. They will find their community of like-minded brothers and sisters in spirit."

The Allgäu region – a place and a feeling
The raw materials used are from the region, which are handcrafted and matured over time to Meckatzer maturity. As a result, Meckatzer became the first German brewery to receive the Slow Brewing seal of approval, the most consistent seal on the international beer market.
