The interior of this 600-year-old rectory makes guests feel as though they have stepped into a warm and inviting lounge but with modern, tasteful decor. The attentive service provided by owner Saskia allows guests to ask questions about the menu while the food is beautifully presented and full of flavour.

The cuisine at Casa Alva is inspired by Chef Reto Gadola’s roots in the mountain region of Surselva. The flavours of his childhood have been recreated using fresh produce, local ingredients and traditional recipes that continue to delight their guests. From the variety of amuse-bouche dishes that are served when you arrive, to the selection of dishes “from the mountains” or “from the sea”, the flavours all perfectly complement each other.
