At this fantastic location on Lake Wörthersee, elite chef Hubert Wallner creates sophisticated creations with the finest ingredients from the Alps-Adriatic region. The 4-toque chef combines the local Carinthian cuisine with the Mediterranean like no other. His dishes, inspired by the Alpine region between lake and sea, always convey a certain lightness. From domestic Wörthersee whitefish and mussels from the Adriatic to Carinthian meat: his creations are gentle yet profound, which makes for a unique Alps-Adriatic gastronomic experience.

Surrounded by Lake Wörthersee, Hubert Wallner restaurant is a great starting point for sightseeing. You can visit the Maria Wörth pilgrimage church, the Minimundus (miniature park), archaeological excavations around the Kathreinkogel, or the Landskron Castle. For excursions, we recommend exploring the Wörthersee shore path, the “Pyramidenkogel” sculpture and lookout tower, the Tscheppa Canyon in Ferlach, and the picturesque Malta Hochalmstrasse road. Cultural highlights include the Carinthian Museum of Modern Art in Klagenfurt, the Liaunig Museum in Neuhaus, and the Schloss Porcia in Spittal an der Drau. For shopping local delicacies, you can visit the Pörtschach farmers’ market from May to October. Or visit family-run restaurant Sicher in Tainach for Arctic char caviar.
