Restaurant Kraftwerk

At restaurant Kraftwerk, owner and chef Adalbert Seebacher and his partner Daniela take great care of their guests, with endless charm and culinary passion. Their motto is: “Passion creates passion” – a quote by the famous German poet Goethe, who was from the same region. Housed inside a former power station, this restaurant is not just an exciting location, the food here is adventurous as well. Diners can enjoy fine German and Austrian cuisine, inspired by the homeland of the chefs. From Wiener Schnitzel to scallops and prawns with pumpkin and coconut foam: a true feast for your palate.

Kraftwerk’s cuisine

The cuisine at restaurant Kraftwerk reflects ambitious creative gastronomy without any limitations. Chef Adalbert Seebacher is responsible for the kitchen, where he conjures up his dishes with first-class products. The menu includes delicious contemporary German food, as well as creatively prepared Austrian specialties. Each dish can be paired with an excellent glass of wine from the extensive wine list, or a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage.

Oberursel surroundings

The restaurant is located in the town of Oberursel, part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area, situated in the state of Hesse. In this federal state, many beautiful forest areas invite you to go hiking or cycling in areas like the Rhön, the Taunus, the Spessart, the Oden and the Westerwald. The Rheingau region of Hesse is one of Germany's best wine and fruit regions, and there is no other federal state with as many spas and bathing resorts with mineral water as Hesse. Cultural highlights in the area include the Frankfurt Zoo, and the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus, a gorgeous Gothic-style Catholic cathedral that is decorated with Renaissance frescoes. And last but not least, Germany's most famous poet was an original Hessian: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
