Restaurant Boba

Situated on Murter, a picturesque island in the Adriatic Sea, you’ll find a gourmet hotspot called Boba. Inspired by the island way of life, this high-end fish restaurant serves traditional dishes with a contemporary twist. The restaurant is run by owner and chef Vjeko Bašić. In 2018, he was honoured with the prestigious Chef of the Year Award by Gault Millau. His modern cuisine is inspired by ingredients from the sea and the island itself. Thanks to the open kitchen, you can spy on the kitchen team and observe how your course is being prepared. The interior is tastefully furnished with black accent walls, wooden chairs and tables, and abstract art. This makes for a stylish ambiance that feels intimate and inviting.  Surrounded by a lush garden, this surely is a lovely spot to sit down and munch on one of the chef’s seafood specialties – both indoors and outdoors.

Boba’s cuisine

Together with his skilled kitchen team, chef Vjeko Bašić presents a seasonal menu, starring seafood from the Adriatic sea and locally-produced meat. Vjeko mainly sources these products from regional suppliers and fishermen. His basil, oregano, mint, pomegranate, and vegetables come from the restaurant’s fragrant garden. Restaurant Boba offers a 5- or 7-course Chef's selection menu, as well as a sophisticated selection of wines. Think of wild oysters, Dalmatian prosciutto, and homemade gnocchi with prawns and tomato salsa.

Murter island

Boba restaurant is located on the Island of Murter, also known as “the gate to the Kornati”. From here, National Park Kornati is conveniently within reach. If you’re a sailing enthusiast, you’ll have plenty to explore in this archipelago. With its 89 islands, islets and reefs, this nautical paradise will seriously put your sailing skills to the test. For walking, hiking, and active sports on the hinterland, you can travel to the Paklenica National Park, which is just a few hours away.
