After working as a sous-chef at Basiliek for three and a half years, Yornie van Dijk decided to take over the restaurant, a dream he wanted to achieve before he was 30 - a dream he has now achieved. It was essential to him to maintain the essence of the restaurant that has been well-loved in the area for years by loyal customers. Born and raised in Harderwijk, Van Dijk is proud to have opened a restaurant in his hometown after many years working in other restaurants including Parc Broekhuizen in Leersum, 't Nonnetje in Harderwijk, De Librije in Zwolle, and Ratatouille in Harderwijk. As a chef, his aim is to give diners an experience that they will remember with a creative and innovative menu served by a team that works hard to make sure that everyone is happy and enjoys their evening.
