Chef Joshua Leise grew up helping his grandmother in the garden and always loved food; both the eating and the cooking. At just 15 he started his first internship in a professional kitchen and, even though his family had no connections within the world of exclusive cuisine, Joshua knew that this was the world that he wanted to work in. He applied to the five-star Söl'ring Hof hotel on the island of Sylt - a small hotel that had a fine dining restaurant. After working here he began work at the two-star Atelier at Bayerischer Hof before accepting an offer at Mural. Starting at Mural at just 23 years of age, Joshua was awarded his first Michelin star just two years later.
